Bring Your Space to Life
Interior design doesn’t just have to be about furniture and accessories, and it doesn’t even necessarily have to be indoors!
One of the great things about interior design is that it really is what you make it. Transforming a space by bringing the outdoors in can be just as exciting as buying a new rug or art piece. Using flowers and plants to make a space feel new and fresh is easy and inexpensive, and it’s also a great way to see your own work in your living space.
One of the best ways to make your space more transitional is through the use of flower arrangements in vibrant planters. By having beautiful plants displayed in planters that look like pieces of art, you can really elevate the way a space looks. We love glazed planters in colors that accent both the inside and outside of your home. By using greens or blues as your planter colors, you are able to inject color and maintain a neutral look.
To keep your plants alive all year long, you can move them inside during the winter and back outside when the weather warms up. Having plants inside with you during the winter can make those cold grey days seem much more cheerful. You could also move your plants around to change up your living space more regularly, without having to move heavy furniture.
When picking flowers and plants to use in your space, choose a wide variety shapes, sizes, and textures. This variation is visually engaging and can end up looking like a living art piece. You can also group the flower arrangements by color, with one planter having yellow flowers and another having purple or red. By arranging the flowers this way, you are able to more closely control the way color is placed in your living space, rather than having to figure out a spot that can accommodate a wide assortment of color in one place.
We would love to help you change your space with simple fixes, like introducing plants to a space, or rearranging the pieces you already have in a way the feels brand new with our Visual Coordination service.
